Held at the prestigious Canberra Theatre, the festival provides students with an authentic, professional performance experience in front of a large audience.

Each year, performances align with a central artistic theme, incorporating dance, drama, vocal, and instrumental pieces. Schools prepare a 5–9 minute performance and also rehearse for an engaging whole-cast finale.
